The Chesapeake Ghost baseball organization has officially announced the formation of its new 14U Showcase Baseball Team. Designed for athletes looking to break out of local brackets and test themselves on a grander stage, the program promises high-level player development, national exposure, and a culture built on accountability and fierce competitiveness.
The 14U Ghost squad will focus on preparing players for high-school, collegiate, and showcase-level baseball. In addition to a rigorous, disciplined team tournament schedule, standout players will have the exclusive opportunity to receive individual invitations to the Ghost National Team.
These national opportunities will be creatively scheduled around each individual player’s specific developmental trajectory and skill level, ensuring maximum visibility in front of scouts and college recruiters.
“We aren’t looking to just play teams in our own backyard,” said Mikey Farrell, President of Chesapeake Ghost. “Our goal is to develop true competitors—kids who want to play tough competition, embrace accountability and respect the game. We meet players exactly where they are, but we push them to become the absolute best version of themselves.”
A major differentiator for the Chesapeake Ghost organization is its infrastructure. Players will soon have year-round access to a state-of-the-art indoor training facility, allowing for data-driven, tailored instruction specific to each athlete’s unique mechanical and physical needs.
The organization is currently scouting the “best of the best” talent across the Southern Maryland area. Players and parents who are tired of the status quo, the same tournaments, and who want to elevate their game through high-level coaching and unprecedented exposure are invited to learn more.
