Shyann A. Haley, 34, of Leonardtown, has been charged with failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order, disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, and trespassing on private property after deputies said she refused to leave a Lexington Park business and caused a disturbance on June 3, 2026.

According to court filings, a deputy with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to Canopy Liquors on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a report of a large crowd gathered in front of the store. The deputy wrote that, when he arrived, he told the group to leave the property at the request of the business. Haley was among those in front of the store, and the deputy noted that this was the first time she had been asked to leave the premises, including the area behind the store.

The deputy said he was later contacted again by a store employee, who reported that Haley had created another disturbance in front of the business that was affecting store operations. When the deputy returned, Haley was allegedly yelling and screaming outside the store. The employee told the deputy that she wanted Haley removed from the property and said Haley had been taking off her clothes and exposing herself in the parking lot.

The deputy reported that he went back outside and asked Haley several times to leave, but she refused. Authorities said her yelling and screaming prevented several customers from entering and leaving the business. She was then arrested and taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center for processing.

Haley appeared before a judicial officer on June 4, 2026, and was released on her own recognizance with instructions not to engage in criminal conduct and to appear in court when directed.
