Angela Kathleen Klosek, 50, of Glenn Dale
Angela Kathleen Klosek, 50, of Glenn Dale, has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault, resisting or interfering with arrest, disorderly conduct, and failing to obey a reasonable and lawful order after deputies said she refused to comply during an arrest at a California restaurant on May 24, 2026.
According to charging information, members of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bollywood Masala on Three Notch Road in California after deputies located a female subject who they said had active warrants. Klosek was found seated alone in a booth inside the restaurant, where several other customers were present. Deputies said she was positively identified through her Maryland driver’s license.
The documents state that a deputy told Klosek she had a warrant for her arrest and that she was under arrest. Deputies reported that Klosek remained seated and refused repeated instructions to get up. At one point, she allegedly picked up a glass water bottle and began drinking from it instead of following commands.
When a deputy attempted to take the bottle, Klosek allegedly pushed his arm away with her left hand. Deputies said she then moved to the other side of the booth as they tried to take her into custody. She was ordered to place her hands behind her back because she was under arrest, but deputies reported that she pulled her arms away while they attempted to handcuff her.
Authorities said Klosek began yelling during the arrest, disrupting the restaurant and causing patrons to look toward the commotion. After she was handcuffed, deputies escorted her out of the restaurant.
Deputies further alleged that Klosek refused to walk cooperatively, stopped near the restaurant door, sat down before leaving the building, and later sat down again outside while being taken toward a patrol vehicle. Deputies said they had to pick her up and carry her to the vehicle.
Once at the patrol vehicle, Klosek allegedly refused to get inside. Deputies said she wrapped her left leg around a deputy’s leg while resisting, kicked one deputy in the right shin, and later kicked another deputy in the right thigh. She was eventually secured in the patrol vehicle and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
Klosek was initially ordered held without bond on May 25, 2026, with a bail review held the next day. The initial appearance paperwork states she waived an attorney for that first appearance only, and that the court ordered her held without bond.
