Daniel “Dan” Patrick Clark, 76, of Charlotte Hall, MD, passed away on June 14, 2026. He was born on February 22, 1950, in Pennsylvania to the late Daniel and Catherine Clark.
After graduating from Cardinal Dougherty Catholic High School in 1968, he went on to study at West Chester University.
Dan dedicated over 40 years to working in Security for the Federal Government. Following his retirement in 2000, he was an immense Redskin fan, watching every game old and new. Dan also enjoyed basketball, Boxing matches, and fishing in his time.
Dan was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Michael Clark, Jerry Clark, Johnny Clark, and Marie Charters. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jo Clark, son R.J. O’Neil (Kathryne) of Bushwood, MD, sister Mary Scofield (Dennis) of Philadelphia, PA, grandchildren Aeric O’Neil and Cierra Roulette (Kyle), as well as great-grandchildren KJ, Declan, Hayden, and Roman.
On Monday, June 22, 2026, the family will receive friends for the visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with mass beginning at 11:00 am, officiated by Father Paul Nguyen at Immaculate Conception Church, 28297 Old Village Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment will be private.
