Frances Virginia Miller

Frances Virginia Miller, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, passed away on June 17, 2026 at the age of 76. Born on December 14, 1949, in Washington, D.C., she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Frances Sherry.

On April 11, 1972, Frances married the love of her life, Bernard Tyrone Miller. Together they shared more than 53 years of marriage and built a loving home centered on family, faith, and devotion. Bernard preceded her in death on June 19, 2025.

Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the proud mother of four children: Bernard Jason Miller of Mechanicsville, Maryland; Lisa Jones of Washington, D.C.; Stacy Miller of Spotsylvania, Virginia; and the late Donna Jones of Oxon Hill, Maryland. She was also a loving sister to Larry Sherry and Belinda Sherry and was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Sherry, Mike Sherry, and Harry Sherry, as well as her sister-in-law, Carol Sherry.

Frances was a cherished grandmother to Michael, Michaela, Salena, and Robert, and a proud great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest happiness in spending time with those she loved.

For many years, Frances worked as a cashier, where she was known for her friendly smile, welcoming personality, and genuine kindness. She enjoyed helping others and formed many lasting friendships throughout her career.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, Maryland.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Brinsfield Funeral Home with Deacon Bill Kyte officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

Frances will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the compassion she extended to everyone she met. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
