Jane Fallon Green, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 81.
Born on December 5, 1944, in Kings County, New York, Jane was the beloved daughter of the late Lawrence Fallon and Elsie Fallon. She devoted many years of service to the United States Census Bureau, where she worked as a secretary. She enjoyed supporting the important work of her colleagues and the agency.
In 1969, Jane married the love of her life, John Ralph Green. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and friendship. Jane was a devoted wife and mother whose kindness, strength, and caring spirit touched all who knew her.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her cherished daughter, Suzanne Green; her brother, William Fallon and his wife, Mary, of Olney, Maryland; and her sister, Elsie Flaherty and her husband, Donald, of Oxon Hill, Maryland.
She leaves behind loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends who will remember her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
A combined funeral mass for Jane and her daughter, Suzanne Green, will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mechanicsville, Maryland, with Father Paul Nguyen officiating.
Jane’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
