On Friday, June 26, 2026, at approximately 10:40 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the Take It Easy Campground, located at 45285 Take It Easy Ranch Road in Callaway, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a structure.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a single sedan into the corner of the brick 1-story laundromat building, with one occupant suffering injuries.
EMS evaluated one adult female on the scene. No occupants of the building were injured.
A county building inspector was requested to respond to the scene and evaluated the damage to the structure.
Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the collision.
