
On Thursday, June 25, 2026, at approximately 4:55 p.m., firefighters from Charles County were dispatched to the 9300 block of Clifford Drive in White Plains, for the reported structure fire with possible entrapment.
911 callers reported a fire in the garage, with one occupant going back into the home.
Crews arrived on the scene to confirm fire showing from an attached garage and made entry with attack lines.
Fortunately, all occupants had safely evacuated the home prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.
The fire was contained within 15 minutes, with crews finding extensions into the second floor.
No injuries were reported.

The Charles County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association recognizes all 43 responding personnel for their prompt and coordinated efforts, which limited damage and ensured the safety of the home’s occupants.
