On Saturday, June 27, 2026, at approximately 3:20 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to Baja Lane in Great Mills, for the possible stabbing with one unconscious.
Due to the calls nature, a helicopter was placed on standby, then pre-launched to land nearby.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a 33-year old male unconscious after an assault, and a male in their 50s with injuries after an assault.
Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 7 is responding.
Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the assault.
