Dear family, friends and community:

With deep sorrow, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Ricardo Arias, who was a fundamental figure not only at Plaza Azteca, but also in the hearts of those of us who were fortunate enough to know him.

Ricardo was an exceptional human being whose warmth, dedication, and spirit of service left an indelible mark on our community. His passing has left an immense void in our lives, and today we face all the expenses for his repatriation.

At this time, our main priority is to fulfill his last wish: to return home to rest with his loved ones. Therefore, we have started this fundraising campaign to cover the necessary expenses for his repatriation.

We know that many of you have expressed your desire to help and honor his memory. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will be used entirely for the legal, logistical, and transportation costs necessary for Ricardo to return to his homeland and receive the farewell he deserves.

We want to express our sincerest gratitude for the outpouring of love, constant support, and solidarity we have received since this tragic event. Seeing how much you all loved Ricardo brings us comfort and reminds us of the profound positive impact he had on each of your lives. Your support during this difficult time is the greatest tribute we can offer to his legacy.

If making a donation is not within your means, your help in sharing this message is equally valuable and brings us closer to our goal.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining us in this process and for keeping Ricardo’s light and memory alive.

With deep gratitude, Vanessa and Beatriz.
