The Leonardtown Business Association is excited to announce that registrations are now open for the 8th Annual Scarecrow Stroll and the 2nd Annual Gingerbread Lane.
These popular community events invite businesses, community groups, sports teams, organizations, families, and individuals to showcase their creativity while helping make Leonardtown a fun and festive destination for residents and visitors.
The Scarecrow Stroll transforms Leonardtown into an outdoor gallery of unique and imaginative scarecrows displayed throughout town during the fall season. Participants are encouraged to create scarecrows that reflect their business, organization, team, or personal interests.
Following a successful inaugural year, Gingerbread Lane returns for its second season, bringing holiday magic to Leonardtown with larger-than-life gingerbread character displays throughout the community. Participants can decorate their gingerbread characters to reflect their creativity, personality, or holiday spirit.
Both events provide a unique opportunity to promote businesses and organizations, encourage community involvement, and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
Registration is now open for both events. Participants who joined Gingerbread Lane last year are welcome to reuse their existing gingerbread character. New participants, or those needing a replacement character, are encouraged to register early to allow time for the wooden cutouts to be produced.
