On Friday, June 10, 2026, at approximately 9:54 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of the Andy’s Driving School located at 26825 Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown, for the reported motor vehicle collision with unknown injuries.
Crews arrived on the scene to find two vehicles involved in a rear-end style collision with two patients for evaluation.
Preliminary investigation found the student driver was stationary and attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of the Andy’s Driving School, when the SUV struck them from behind.
Firefighters quickly removed a door from the sedan to free the patient. EMS evaluated the female student and adult instructor who suffered injuries.
One patient was transported to an area hospital. Two patients denied transport and signed care refusal forms on scene.
Police are investigating the collision and updates will be provided when they become available.
