Con un dolor inmenso en nuestros corazones, pero con la esperanza inquebrantable en las promesas de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, honramos y celebramos la vida de Ricardo del Tránsito Arias Cardoza, quien descansó en el Señor el martes 30 de junio de 2026, a la edad de 39 años, en MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital en Leonardtown, Maryland.
Nació el 15 de agosto de 1986 en El Salvador, hijo de Rosa Cardoza y del recordado Manuel Vicente Arias.
Ricardo fue un hombre verdaderamente extraordinario. Quienes tuvimos el privilegio de conocerlo conocimos a un hombre de un corazón noble, humilde y generoso. Su vida estuvo marcada por la bondad, la honestidad, la compasión y un amor incondicional por Dios, su familia y todas las personas que lo rodeaban. Su sonrisa transmitía paz, sus palabras daban esperanza y su presencia hacía sentir a todos valorados y bienvenidos.
Durante más de seis años sirvió como General Manager de Plaza Azteca Restaurant. Su profesionalismo, liderazgo, excelencia, dedicación y extraordinaria calidad humana lo convirtieron en un líder admirado y profundamente respetado. Para muchos fue más que un gerente: fue un mentor, un amigo, un consejero y un ejemplo de integridad. Su carisma y calidez dejaron una huella imborrable en la vida de empleados, clientes y amigos.
Asistía fielmente a la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, Ricardo vivió aferrado a las promesas de Dios. Creía firmemente que Jesús es la resurrección y la vida, y descansó con la esperanza bienaventurada de escuchar Su voz cuando regrese en gloria para llamar a Sus hijos a la vida eterna.
Ricardo fue un esposo profundamente amoroso, un padre ejemplar, un hijo agradecido, un hermano incondicional un tío excepcional y un amigo leal. El amor que sembró seguirá floreciendo en los corazones de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Le sobreviven su madre, Rosa Cardoza; su amada esposa Vanessa; su querido hijo, Ricardo Arias Jr.; sus hermanos Pedro, Magdalena, Francisco Alirio, Luis, Alicia, Vicente, Carlos, Armando y Salvador; su sobrina Beatriz, con quien compartía un vínculo tan profundo que se amaban como hermanos; además de sus sobrinos, familiares y amistades profundas que hoy agradecen a Dios por el regalo de haber compartido la vida con él.
Aunque su ausencia deja un vacío imposible de llenar, también deja un legado eterno de amor, servicio, humildad y fe. Ricardo no será recordado únicamente por sus logros, sino por la forma en que hizo sentir a las personas: amadas, respetadas, escuchadas e importantes.
Hasta el glorioso día en que Cristo regrese, su memoria será un tesoro, su ejemplo una inspiración y su amor vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
La familia recibirá a familiares y amigos el lunes 13 de julio de 2026, de 7:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., seguido de un Servicio Fúnebre a las 8:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día Patuxent, ubicada en 22981 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650.

With profound sorrow, yet with unwavering hope in the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ, we honor and celebrate the life of Ricardo del Tránsito Arias Cardoza, who fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the age of 39, at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland.
Born on August 15, 1986, in El Salvador, Ricardo was the beloved son of Rosa Cardoza and the late Manuel Vicente Arias.
Ricardo was a truly extraordinary man. Those who had the privilege of knowing him were blessed by his noble heart, humility, generosity, unwavering integrity, and genuine compassion. His life reflected kindness, honesty, and selfless love for God, his family, and everyone around him. His smile brought peace, his words inspired hope, and his presence made everyone feel valued and welcomed.
For more than six years, Ricardo faithfully served as General Manager of Plaza Azteca Restaurant. His professionalism, leadership, excellence, dedication, and deep compassion earned the admiration and respect of everyone who knew him. To many, he was far more than a manager—he was a mentor, a trusted friend, a counselor, and an example of integrity. His warmth, charisma, and caring spirit left an unforgettable mark on employees, guests, coworkers, and friends.
He faithfully attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ricardo lived anchored in God’s promises. He firmly believed that Jesus is the resurrection and the life, and he now rests in the blessed hope of hearing His voice when Christ returns in glory to call His children to everlasting life.
Ricardo was a deeply loving husband, a devoted father, a grateful son, a faithful brother, exceptional uncle and a loyal friend. The love he gave will continue to live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Rosa Cardoza; his beloved wife, Vanessa; his cherished son, Ricardo Arias Jr.; his siblings Pedro, Magdalena, Francisco Alirio, Luis, Alicia, Vicente, Carlos, Armando, and Salvador; his niece Beatriz, with whom he shared a bond as close as brother and sister; as well as his nephews, extended family, and countless friends who are forever grateful to have shared life with him.
Although his passing leaves an immeasurable void, it also leaves an everlasting legacy of love, service, humility, and faith. Ricardo will be remembered not only for what he accomplished, but for the way he made people feel—loved, respected, heard, and genuinely important.
Until the glorious day when Christ returns, his memory will remain a treasured blessing, his example an enduring inspiration, and his love will live forever in our hearts.
Family will receive friends on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 8:00 p.m. at the Patuxent Seventh Day Adventist Church, 22981 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
