July 17, 2026

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple incidents that occurred between July 15 and July 16, 2026, involving Moses Ekundayo Olubu, 28, of Prince George’s County.

During that time, deputies responded to several calls for service, including a welfare check, an attempted residential burglary, and an indecent exposure incident. Through the initial investigation and contact made during the welfare check, deputies were able to identify Olubu as the suspect in the other reported incidents.

As a result of the investigation, criminal charges have been filed against Olubu for Attempted Fourth-Degree Burglary in connection with an incident that occurred at a residence on B Street in Chesapeake Beach. A criminal summons has been issued.

The investigation into the reported indecent exposure that occurred on the North Beach Boardwalk remains active and ongoing.

At this time, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Olubu’s guardian has transported him back to Prince George’s County.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have witnessed either incident or who has additional information related to the attempted burglary or indecent exposure investigation to contact the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office at 410-535-2800.
