Nathan Olando Jones, 67, of Prince Frederick, is charged with two counts of indecent exposure following an alleged incident involving two adult female victims outside a 7-Eleven on Old Town Road in Huntingtown on July 19, 2026.
A Calvert County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to the convenience store at approximately 7:20 p.m. for a report of indecent exposure. Before arriving, the deputy spoke by telephone with an adult female victim who said she had left the store and did not want to pursue a complaint at that time.
The deputy reported seeing Jones walking away from the store’s front entrance toward the far side of the building. He was described as wearing a green long-sleeve button-down shirt and a U.S. Army hat.
After Jones walked around a corner, the deputy drove to that side of the building and allegedly saw him pulling up his pants. The deputy also reported seeing a wet spot on the pavement where Jones had been standing.
Jones identified himself using a Veterans Affairs identification card. The deputy spoke with him about the reported incident and allowed him to leave while the investigation continued.
At approximately 7:43 p.m., the first adult female victim called the deputy again and said she wanted to report the alleged exposure. The deputy met with her in Huntingtown.
The woman said she and her two daughters had been sitting inside a vehicle parked in front of the 7-Eleven when she saw Jones standing directly in front of the vehicle and looking toward it. She alleged that Jones placed his hand inside his pants and began to “play with himself” before exposing his penis through a hole in the crotch area of his clothing.
The woman said she began yelling inside the vehicle while the windows were down. She first warned her daughters not to look and then yelled at Jones to stop. She told the deputy that Jones heard her because he began yelling back.
According to the woman, Jones then turned toward the far end of the building and walked away while he was still exposed. She said he disappeared around the corner for several seconds and returned with his penis no longer exposed. She estimated that the encounter lasted about one minute.
The deputy also interviewed one of the woman’s adult daughters. The second adult female victim said she heard her mother yell, “don’t look up.” She said she looked up as a natural reaction, saw Jones standing in front of the vehicle with his penis exposed and then looked away.
The documents do not state that the other daughter witnessed the alleged exposure.
The deputy later located Jones on Cox Road in Huntingtown near what was described as an apparently vacant business. Jones allegedly said he was homeless and staying near the back deck area of the property.
When told about the investigation, Jones denied ever exposing himself to the two victims. The deputy then arrested him on two counts of indecent exposure and transported him to the Calvert County Detention Center.
The deputy reported that Jones was identified through his Veterans Affairs identification card and a previous booking photograph. The deputy’s body-worn camera was active during the investigation.
Jones appeared before a District Court commissioner on July 20, 2026. He waived an attorney for the initial appearance, though that waiver does not apply to later proceedings.
The commissioner ordered Jones released on a $1,500 unsecured personal bond. The release decision cited the nature of the allegations, the reported evidence, the possible sentence and a prior failure to appear. Jones was ordered to avoid criminal conduct and appear in court when directed.
