Marcus Neal Bedwell, 79, of Clinton, MD, passed away on July 15, 2026 . Marcus was born in Lillybrook, West Virginia to the late Vilas and Sylvia (Warf) Bedwell.
For over 17 years, Marcus worked as a Coal Miner, and member of the mining safety crew. Then, after moving to Maryland, he worked as an Ironworker until his retirement.
In 1967, he met his future wife, Stephanie, and they married in the same year. Together, they welcomed two children, Shannon Herrin (Randy) from Arkansas and Amber Gray (Paul) from West Virginia.
After retiring in 2012, Marcus spent his free time collecting and racing RC cars. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and sitting outside with his cats. Marcus was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, children, brother Dennis Bedwell of Virginia, sister Linda Williams of West Virginia, six grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
